Saints “Stranded” Turns 40 – Ed Kuepper Portrait by Nathan David Kelly

Iconic Brisbane Punk band and arguable the inventors of PUNK seminal album Stranded was released this week 40 years ago.

Whilst I only turned 40 this year and was only a babe in arms when it was released this album I have loved since my early teenage years.

I have been lucky enough to meet all of the original members of this band but by far my favourite to meet and see play many times is Ed Kuepper.

I had a great time photographing some portraits of him a few years ago and shooting his live show…in which he even played “Electrical Storm” just for me….
